Can I claim physiotherapy and group classes on Private Health Insurance?
Yes, if you bring your private health insurance card to the clinic we are able to claim for you on the spot. If you forget to bring it to the consult, we will give you an invoice that allows you to claim yourself.
What if I need to cancel an appointment less than 24hrs before?
There will be a cancellation fee of 50% for cancellations that are after 24hr window before the appointment.
Obviously there are unforeseen circumstances and we understand that, however there must be valid proof of why appointment must be altered last minute.
Can I reschedule an appointment?
You can reschedule your appointment through either emailing info@dayonephysio.com.au or calling/ texting the clinic on 0422072704.
Is there parking near the clinic?
Yes there are 1 hour parking spots on Howard street and in the streets behind the clinic, also there is parking along church street and adjacent streets.
Is physiotherapy covered by Medicare?
Day One Physio treatments are not covered by Medicare unless the client is on a TCA from their GP. In which case clients will pay in full on the day and will be able to receive the claim back after the sessions on their MyGov account.
How many physiotherapy treatments are covered under Medicare?
With a TCA (team care arrangement) you can receive up to 5 Physiotherapy session rebates
What should I wear/ bring to my Physiotherapy appointment
It is a good idea to wear suitable clothing that allows you to move around and the clinician to access the area of treatment (i.e. sports shorts and singlet). If you are coming in for a running/ lower body related issue it may be useful to bring in your runners or most frequently worn shoes.
